Trading Volume of Digital Assets Increases by 960%
The total daily trading volume of digital assets is $53 billion, although in 2017, during the increase of the market, the indication was at the level of $5 billion.
The trading volume has increased by 960% for the last two years. The total value of the deals at the market was $5 billion two years ago, and even $2 billion at the beginning of October. In December, 2017, when BTC hit the record of $20000, and exchanges couldn’t handle the inflow of customers, the trading volumes wasn’t higher than $50 billion.
As for now, the indication is $53,6 billion, and the all-time high was seen two months ago. $135 billion dollars was recorded at the end of June. Along with this, the capitalization of the market is two times higher than in summer 2017. The figures are $280 billion, and $135 billion, respectively.
Today, Bitcoin is traded at the level of $10513. In the last 24 hours, the rate has reduced by 4,5%. Earlier, Omkar Godbole warned that the asset might face a short-term rise up to $10700, and then fall again. The cryptocurrency should stay above $12000 to start the growth again, the experts believes.
We recall that the trading volume of cryptocurrencies dropped by 67%. The market has lost $125 billion since the end of June, and the leading altcoins dipped by 40%.
